Our providers will personalize your treatment plan to accommodate your schedule and lifestyle. Let us help you reach your goals!
At your first consultation, our providers will develop a customized medical weight loss plan for you. We will also obtain vital signs, baseline blood work, and an EKG prior to starting a new medications.
We know our patients are busy. In order to help keep you on track, we recommend follow-up visits with one of our providers every 4 weeks. To better accommodate our patients, these visits can be completed via Telemedicine.
*All patients taking controlled substances are required to follow up every 4 weeks
Once you have met your weight loss goal, our providers will help you maintain this loss with sustainable lifestyle changes. Although maintaining weight loss looks different for each patient, we still recommend you follow up every 3 months to help ensure your success.
Most insurance plans cover the cost of this program for patients with a BMI greater than 25. Please be advised that weight loss medications are not always covered by insurance. For those without insurance, the cost of the initial consultation is $100 and each follow up appointment is $75 thereafter.
When indicated, our providers do prescribe medications to aid in weight loss. Medications that have been used by our patients in the past include Phentermine, Qsymia, Contrave, Liraglutide, and Orlistat. Please be advised that medications may not be recommended in patients with certain health conditions.
At Elevate Wellness Center, we recommend sustainable lifestyle changes rather than dieting. Our providers will help you make the changes necessary to be successful in your weight loss journey.
Although exercise is not required to be successful in this program, we do recommend moderate exercise at least three times a week to promote a calorie deficit. Studies also indicate that regular exercise can help maintain weight loss.
Most patients start to lose weight within the first two weeks of the program. Although the time it takes to reach individualized weight loss goals varies based on many different factors, our patients often report meeting their first weight loss goal within 3 months of starting the program.
Schedule a consultation with one of our providers to discuss treatment options and develop a customized weight loss plan.
